Her work turns a radical urban practice into an argument about gender, class and who gets to occupy public space; her \u003cem\u003eCaótica\u003c\/em\u003eseries takes the misogynist vocabulary thrown at pixadoras and writes it back onto the walls. More recently she has folded Afro-Brazilian spirituality into the work, drawing on Quimbanda as a matter of ritual, memory and resistance.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eFor the can she chose a still from one of her own videos — not a portrait, but the collective side of the practice: the human ladder.
