Photocopied, black and white, made almost entirely of what readers sent in — hand-drawn portraits, poems written from prison, photographs from the barrio. It was carried in Chicano clothing stores and at lowrider shows across California and the Southwest, refused by mainstream distributors, and read by people who saw nothing of their own lives anywhere else on a newsstand. Holland, who was not himself Chicano, died in 2015.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cem\u003eDedications\u003c\/em\u003e reproduces one thing from that archive: the blank dedication page, the form readers filled in to send a message, a shout-out or a memorial to someone. 192 of them, perforated so they detach cleanly.
