When I discovered the negatives, I began to question what they were saying beyond a simple travel narrative—about the imaginary world surrounding a series of photographs, and whether curiosity is sparked through interpretation or through immersion. It was through this line of questioning that I created a narrative around the everyday life of Clara, with whom I spent those few days, allowing a sense of doubt to linger.
