An issue from the oversized run of 14K, the Zurich magazine founded in May 1988 and one of the founding titles of the European graffiti press alongside Zulu Letter in Paris and Bomber in Nieuwegein. The steel coverage is the spine of the issue: European Steel in two parts, freights, Spain-Trains, Train-Pads, two pages of New York City, Trainlove and Worldwide Walls, closing on German Walls. Alongside it runs a Paint the World feature in two parts, a Styles page, Swiss Made, an Italian rap special, and an interview with MC Rene conducted in Zurich by Don Miguel and Ducal Daddy Fresh with Akim (Zeb.Roc.Ski) at the table. Cope 2 supplied a batch of fresh New York photographs to the editors for this number; contributors credited include Craze, Mac², Lunar, Zoke and Cape Town's Emile YX. Also present: an instalment of the City-Cider Comic, the serial 14K had been running since its fifty-first issue.
The first series began as photocopied sheets run off in editions of fifty; the second is the version that carried 14K across Europe, the United States, Australia and Japan. The run closed in 1997 after sixty-three issues in all.
