A group show at Anna Friebe Galerie in Cologne, presenting artists from New York’s East Village, the scene that formed around the Times Square show and the East Village Eye. Among the artists in the exhibition were Mike Bidlo, Bronson Eden, Rodney Alan Greenblat, Kiely Jenkins, Davids West, David Wojnarowicz and Rhonda Zwillinger. Wojnarowicz travelled to Europe in late 1983 to prepare the show with Dean Savard and Alan Barrows of Civilian Warfare, the gallery that had opened the scene’s first doors. The small catalogue, with a single image on its cover and the name of the gallery across the full width of the page, is one of the few printed records of the first European show of the New York group.
