Art Ensemble of Laigueglia is the catalogue of a show held at the Sangiorgi Med Gallery in Laigueglia, on the Ligurian coast, in June and July 2010. Its subtitle, Sentire vedere gustare (hear, see, taste), sums up the line-up: the jazz double bassist Rosario Bonaccorso, the photographer Nicola Di Caprio, who also conceived and designed the book, the artist Francesco Garbelli and the chef Gualtiero Marchesi. Each has his own chapter, from Bonaccorso's Suoni sogni e immagini to Garbelli's Poetica della toponomastica, on the poetry of street names, and a closing portrait of Marchesi as a "postmusical" revolutionary in the kitchen. A small record of a summer when a seaside town put a musician, a photographer, an artist and a chef in the same show.
