Audimat is a music criticism journal publisrockhed by the festival Les Siestes Électroniques. Its mission: a form of writing about music freed from the constraints of news cycles and periodical formats. Audimat seeks to document the present state of pop music and illuminate it through its histories. It aims to inventory what is happening, to engage directly with music and its evolutions, and to approach the musical experience methodically, along with the mediations, imaginations, social dimensions, modes of thought, and affects it activates.
