Starting from the idea of working with “the worst camera possible,” theworstcamera exists within a context where keychain cameras (charmeras) stand out for their immediacy and carefree nature. With no control or pursuit of quality, imperfection becomes a tool for engaging with the surroundings and a way of experiencing wonder. Shot in Taiwan, the zine portrays everyday life through an open perspective, without seeking the decisive moment. Reality is not captured: it is filtered and interpreted. “How do people here experience their everyday lives?” The answer emerges in fragments, on the metro, on trains, and in the streets, with as few obstacles as possible.
