Club Ivoire brings together François Prost’s photographs of nightclub façades across Côte d’Ivoire, primarily in Abidjan and Yamoussoukro. Photographed during the daytime, these spaces are removed from their usual nocturnal atmosphere, revealing their architecture, colours, signage and relationship with the surrounding urban landscape. The series offers a direct and contemporary view of Ivorian nightlife culture while exploring the visual identity of entertainment venues in West Africa. The project continues Prost’s wider photographic research into places of nightlife and social gathering, following earlier series such as After Party, Gentlemen’s Club and Discoteca.
