16 pages 29.5 x 21 cm Language: French Saddle-stitched April 2000
A complete copy of the graffiti insert distributed inside Radikal, the monthly that anchored the French hip-hop press between 1995 and 2005 alongside L'Affiche, Groove and R.E.R. This issue is built around three sections: a Block Letters feature on straight-letter and blockbuster work, a crew focus on 1K Crew, and Worldwide Flicks, the reader-submitted international pages that gave French writers a monthly window onto scenes abroad. Everything is printed as flat photographic documentation, with almost no editorial apparatus around the flicks.
Given away with the parent issue rather than sold on its own, the supplement was routinely discarded once the magazine had been read. What survives comes mostly from the collections of the writers who appeared in it, which is why individual issues turn up far less often than the Radikal issues they came with.
