The fourth of Invader's Invasion Guides, devoted to Rome. In 2010 the artist installed 66 Space Invaders in the Italian capital; the guide follows them in four parts (history, album, other curiosities, maps and index), with his own photographs.
It accompanied Roma 2010 & Other Curiosities, Invader's exhibition at Wunderkammern, held under the patronage of the Regione Lazio, the Provincia and the Comune di Roma. It opens with a critique by Achille Bonito Oliva, the critic who named the Transavanguardia. The first and only printing listed in the colophon, October 2010, ran to 1,000 copies plus 60 with a mosaic cover. Book databases list the title under L'Unité Centrale; the colophon names Wunderkammern as publisher.
It sits between Invader – Low Fidelity (Lazarides, 2009), also printed in 1,000 copies, and Invader – 1000 (Le Feuvre, 2011). Lazarides is among those thanked in the colophon.
