SubCulture is a zine about art and culture in the NYC subway.
Volume I is a compilation of the first three issues of SubCulture, each with its own focus. Issue 1: Can It documents the use of trash cans as a canvas for stickers; Issue 2: Etches and Scratches is study of super permanent acid etch and scratch tags used to undermine the buff; and Issue 3: Wet Paint is a study of ink and paint tags on surfaces throughout the subway system.
