A young artist in the Middle East and Morocco is learning the art of calligraphy: L'Atlas. He works on pavements, producing large posters that are then stuck to walls or billboards. He uses heavy scotch tape to stick compasses in cities, graphic markers on the ground for disorientated city dwellers. This book and its DVD (13 minutes) follow L'Atlas on his Parisian tour, as he explains the meaning of his work and we experience the public's reaction.
