Nothing to Declare is the result of crossing two analog perspectives in 84 pages. Two ways of inhabiting time. Two archives in dialogue. A visual manifesto turned into an object. Hours of play, hours of street life, hours of waiting, hours of shooting without guarantee. But with one clear certainty: photography does not end with the pixel, images are not meant to remain on a screen. It ends when it is printed, when it takes up space, when it weighs something, when it can be touched. This small publication is just that. A way of closing the circle, a way of taking the image off the screen and returning it to the physical world. In addition the publication is accompanied by a black and white VOH marker by HAND MIXED as an extension of the manifesto itself. The printed image is the final result, the wax represents the initial impulse: the mark, the gesture, the intention on the surface. Document and tool. Object and action.
