Murs is the catalogue of a group show at the Huberty & Breyne Gallery in Brussels, from 9 November to 14 December 2019, held with the participation of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Brussels, whose ambassador, Martin Kotthaus, signs the foreword. It opened thirty years to the day after the fall of the Berlin Wall, and its subject is the wall in every sense: as a border, as a surface, as a page. The list of 34 artists cuts across two worlds that rarely share a room, comic artists such as Enki Bilal, François Boucq, Nicolas de Crécy, André Juillard, Loustal and Philippe Geluck alongside artists of the street and the wall, from Ernest Pignon-Ernest and Jorge Rodríguez-Gerada to EVOL, Levalet and ALiAS.
