Ray Mock’s survey of Paris graffiti was made during several visits in late 2014 and 2015. Its hundreds of photographs cover shutters, trucks, walls and rooftops, and set visiting writers beside locals, with a particular focus on the PAL crew. The cross-sample is wide: Horfe, Tomek, Saeio, Mosa, Skubb, Cony, Esso and Kuma are among the names, with many more across the book. It records graffiti inside the everyday fabric of the city, from street level up to the roofline. The first edition is limited to 100 stamped and numbered copies, which makes it a useful record of how Paris looked in those years.
