Rave to the Grave is a documentary photography zine by Yushy offering an intimate look at Cardiff’s underground drum and bass scene. Developed over three years after the photographer’s introduction to the community in 2017, the project follows the city’s nightlife through a series of first-hand photographs and personal observations. From large warehouse raves to smaller gatherings, it portrays the atmosphere, creative expression and connections that shape the local music scene.
Initially self-published in 2020 as a limited edition of 200 copies, which quickly sold out, the publication was later expanded to 100 pages, eight more than the original version.
