The second volume of Monokrome follows World Class Graffiti Design in Black and White (2011) and moves the series into colour. Its 304 pages are organised into sections on 33 artists and crews, from DOES, Peeta and Kofie to SHOK1 and Tilt, and combine wall paintings, canvases and blackbook drawings. Interviews and profiles accompany more than 500 photographs, so that the finished pieces can be read next to the sketches they grew from. Contributors include Bates, Loomit, Jeroo, Mr Wany, Remi/Rough, Suiko and the AWOL Crew. In a shop that sells zines and small-run books, the volume stands out as a survey of individual practices, each with its own palette and method, rather than one scene or one style.
