This book, published on the occasion of the Rose Béton biennial that took place in Toulouse from April 2019 to January 2020, is a photographic report of the event. It allows to discover not only the final works created especially by the artists, but also the process behind these monumental paintings, both within the Abattoirs museum and on the walls of the city.
For this edition, a dialogue is established between generations, nationalities and mediums, with the participation of Tania Mouraud, a contemporary French artist whose particular calligraphic style has moved from the museum to the street, Cleon Peterson, whose graphic and harsh work depicts a chaotic and violent world, Todd James, an artist with a background into graffiti who now paints colorful, sensual and ironic paintings, as well as Hense, Miss Kat, Rero, Mark Jenkins, Momo, Moses & Taps, and Jeroen Erosie. All these artists share a same relationship with the street and a desire to share their view of the world through art.
