Supreme Chronicles of Writing Letters is a limited-edition catalog created in collaboration with legendary artists Delta2 and Dropsy. This publication gathers the artworks that shaped the exhibition, alongside archival photographs, documentation from the opening, and rare historical images tracing the artists’ creative journeys. Featuring a critical essay by Fabiola Naldi, the catalog offers both visual and theoretical insight into the evolution of graffiti from the streets to the gallery.
Raised in Harlem, Delta2 began painting New York subways in the late 1970s, developing a distinct style influenced by pioneers such as Blade and Lee. By the mid-1980s, he had become one of the city’s most innovative writers, later expanding his practice to canvas and fine art contexts, including the landmark Arte di Frontiera exhibition in Bologna (1984) and collaborative works with Rammellzee, Phase2, and Ero.
Dropsy, among the first Italian writers, began his career in Milan in the late 1980s, translating the energy of New York graffiti into a distinctly European language. Over the decades, his work has evolved beyond letterform into abstraction, where shape, symbol, and texture merge in continuous experimentation across canvas, metal, and wood.
