The fifth volume in the yearbook series Chemistry Publishing has been building with Copenhagen writer Swet. Book of the Year 2021 gathers more than 300 walls and trains painted over the year, alongside swinging sketches and personal stories about some of the writers he crossed paths with, including Riot, Wane, SelOne, Mickey and Jake.
2021 was also the year Swet turned 50, and he celebrated it the only way he knows: 50 walls in 24 hours. His approach has never moved from the original mindset of the culture – graffiti belongs in the streets and on the trains – and every page shows the funky letters, fresh connections and crazy swing that only years of fast, energetic painting can produce.
