Fanzine created in the same format as the New York MetroCard. "A year ago, I traveled to New York for the first time to photograph my initial impressions. When I discovered the negatives, I began to question what they were saying beyond a simple travel narrative—about the imaginary world surrounding a series of photographs, and whether curiosity is sparked through interpretation or through immersion. It was through this line of questioning that I created a narrative around the everyday life of Clara, with whom I spent those few days, allowing a sense of doubt to linger. A tattoo artist and artist-in-residence in Brooklyn, but perhaps many other things as well through the photographs. These narrative threads are what the fanzine tells. Within its pages, you’ll also find a QR code leading to an eight-minute composition created by Simon Chérèze from sounds I recorded in New York (streets, subway, interactions…)."
