272 pages Edited by Vaughn Bodé Foreword by Mark Bodé 30 x 22 cm Language: French Hardback Publisher: Delirium 2026
Presented here for the first time in France in more than forty years, and in a newly restored edition, are the works of Vaughn Bodé, the iconic American counterculture artist of the 1970s and one of the most influential figures in popular graphic arts, whether in comics, animation, or graffiti culture.
In this first volume devoted to his work, we invite readers to rediscover the complete pages of Deadbone Erotica, his erotic humor series infused with the libertarian spirit of the 1970s.
Until now, only fragments of this material had been published in French, in translations supervised notably by Jean-Pierre Dionnet. These first appeared in BODE, published in 1975 by Futuropolis in its cult 30×40 collection, followed by around forty pages in Deadbone, published by Neptune in 1983.
