A self-published photo book by Yucka and Jean Moner, two graffiti writers based in Nantes, made from analog photographs they took in Hong Kong in February 2025. Its 276 pages run in eleven chapters, each opened by a short text on a theme the trip imposed on them. Graffiti is kept out of the book on purpose. It has its own 84-page fanzine, sold with it, which also takes digital pictures and sets the local scene alongside the pair's own painting sessions in the city. That split is the point of the project: two people whose way of reading a street was trained on walls, treating photography as a practice of its own and keeping the graffiti record next to it rather than inside it.
The Limited Pack, 60 copies numbered and signed by the two, adds what the standard edition leaves out. It holds a 16-page booklet on the choices behind the book, a 20-page fiction fanzine modelled on B-movies and built from pixelated photographs of the trip, a map of Hong Kong, two original 10 x 15 cm analog prints that differ from one pack to the next, and two small prints after paintings drawn from the book's photographs. It also keeps a trace of Interstice, the exhibition for which the pair built an installation, with its assembly plan and a QR code to Murmurs, a video by Yucka. Everything comes in a sleeve made by hand from construction-site tarpaulin.
