Paris has always been a canvas. This June, it becomes a cave.
From June 6 to 28, JR transforms Paris' oldest bridge into a monumental installation — 120 metres long, up to 18 metres high — evoking the limestone quarries that built the city itself. The work pays tribute to Christo and Jeanne-Claude's The Pont Neuf Wrapped, forty years on. JR started as a teenage graffiti writer on the streets of Paris before becoming one of the most recognized public artists in the world. To mark the occasion, Le Grand Jeu has gathered a selection of books and publications on his work.
